Hi, and thanks for visiting my website! Most of the work you’ll see on this site is from my time working as a Copy Director at Walgreens’ in-house creative marketing agency, where I spent almost a decade leading the development of everything from short-form video content to full-scale brand campaigns. As a copywriter specializing in health & wellness, beauty, and retail, I also managed the blog, and wrote tons of paid and organic social content, email campaigns, and landing pages for a diverse audience.

I’ve been writing since I was a kid, but I actually began my career as a Designer and Photographer at the Chicago Reader, where I spent 11 years honing my visual storytelling skills. I eventually became the Photo Editor and also got back into writing — I wrote and produced a weekly column and web series, plus contributed music and culture articles to the publication's blog. My work as a photographer and art director helped shape the visual voice of the publication, and you can see some of that work here.

When I’m not working, I’m usually writing songs and playing guitar. I love playing music, and I’ve performed in several Chicago bands over the years. (I’m always up for a jingle-writing challenge!) 

While writing, photography, art direction, and music might seem like a lot of different disciplines, I see them all as one creative thread: storytelling. These are just the various tools I use to craft a story that resonates. And whether I'm creating a brand campaign, snapping a photo, or writing a song, my goal is always the same — to make people feel something and connect with the narrative in a meaningful way.
